Italian Records Requests

Many of Italy's oldest records are not available to researchers in the United States, which is why Genevera offers this valuable service to clients who want to trace their family tree as far back as possible.  Ms. Tonks' extensive knowledge of Italy's record repositories and ability to telephone, fax, and otherwise engage in Italian business correspondence enables her to request records otherwise unavailable to professional genealogists in America.

Genevera Cousin Connections

By far the most popular choice in our "Dear Italy" offerings, Genevera's Cousin Connections program has done more to forge new familial bonds than any other service we provide.  By identifying possible relatives still living in Italy, contacting them, and requesting further correspondence, Genevera has successfully united many of its clients with the cousins they never knew they had!

On-Site Research in Italy

For those clients whose ancestral hometowns kept records that predate the Renaissance, we provide on-site research of medieval records in Italy (such records are  not available to researchers in the U.S.).

Research Excursions to Italy

Have you ever wanted to walk the streets your ancestors walked?  You can join Tonks on an excursion to Italy!  While there, you can choose to accompany her to Italian records offices or simply tour and take pictures while your researcher does all the work.  You can also meet those distant cousins still living in Italy with the help of your Tonks as your personal guide and interpreter.
